Server-side timing · shuffled items · tab-switch logging
Training and capability tests need item banks, random papers, time limits, marking, result analysis, and resistance to refreshing the page or opening extra windows.
Items are tagged by topic and difficulty; papers draw by ratio with both items and options shuffled. Timing trusts only the server timestamp - the countdown is display only. Answers autosave per item, and tab switches or focus loss are written to an event table.
Marking rules are configurable (single, multiple with all-or-nothing, true/false). The submit endpoint validates start time and duration and rejects late payloads; dashboards compute average score, pass rate, time used and item difficulty.

Compliance note: demo data is fictional. Real deployments involve candidate personal data, require prior notice and consent; tab-switch logs serve exam fairness only and are kept for a limited period.
