Six page types · responsive · certificate lookup hits the database
Small sites have few pages: home, list, about, careers, lookup, news. Six types, all of which must look right on desktop, tablet and phone, and be quick to re-skin.
A themeable template: colours and type in CSS variables, sections in config. The certificate lookup is a real database query, not a mock; news and careers share one CRUD.
No third-party dependencies, no external fonts; images are compressed server-side into thumbnails; forms get rate limits and a captcha slot.
